Liz Skarvelis, Founder/Owner, Yoga Teacher, Chief Executive Dreamer
E-RYT200, RYT500, YACEP
I'm a life long learner and teacher. I spent years in public education as a high school teacher, then dipped my toe in health care in outreach work for seniors and people living with disadvantages and disabilities. Yoga has been my practice for over 20 years; therefore, Love Bird Yoga was a natural next step as it combines my love of connection and my passion for yoga. This ancient practice has led me to truth, freedom, and purpose. I bow to my teachers, to my community, and to this path.
Greg Skarvelis, Founder/Owner, Yoga Teacher, Leader of the Flock
I found the joy of yoga and realized I wanted to share the benefits and experience of yoga with others. As an avid motorcyclist and outdoorsman, I have found practical application of yoga to my life.
Amber Chenault, Studio Assistant
I started practicing yoga in 2013, during a particularly rough patch in my life and wanted real change. The mind/body connection of yoga introduced me to a sense of empowerment I had not experienced before. It was key in renewing my lost confidence and healing my broken spirit. I hope to leave people feeling empowered and inspired the same way I have been. Gratitude is key!
Brooke Coletta, Yoga Teacher, Teacher Trainer, Mentor
I love Yoga because it makes me feel whole. I love that the practice is more than physical, yet it is physically challenging every time you step onto the mat. I strive to teach every student how to experience each posture in a safe, sustainable and intentional way. As a serious student of philosophy and teacher of all of the limbs of Yoga, it is my responsibility to share the ancient but very alive teachings in an authentic and compassionate way.
Stephanie Salafia, Yoga Teacher
I began my yoga journey in 2013 when I needed something that allowed me to drop in and let go. I had no idea the amount of places in my body that needed to be “un stuck” and immediately felt connected with the practice and loved how it made me feel from the inside out. My intention is to share this practice and hope it gives my students the strength and peace it gives my every time I step on my mat.
Kelly Nie, Yoga Teacher
E-RYT500, Primal Vinyasa & Baptiste Certified, Somatic Life Coach, Maker
I believe that change, freedom and movement go hand in hand. Movement is one of the most accessible forms of healing for our bodies and minds. I have developed a more compassionate connection to my body through the practice of yoga, primal vinyasa and functional movement, and have set my body free. I am inspired by Primal Vinyasa (Annie Adamson), Janet Stone, and Power Yoga (Baron Baptiste).
Maria Finley, Yoga Teacher
I pursued Yoga and became a teacher after grieving the loss of my mom. I feel and see the benefits of connecting to my breath, my heart, and my body and want to share this with others. My body and mind have both experienced a transformation and helped me live more harmoniously. Yoga is a refuge and that is worth sharing.
Toni Larson, Yoga Teacher, Retreat Leader and Shamanic Mentor
Nature brings me joy and sets my heart on fire! I practice yoga to stay grounded, happy, healthy, balanced and connected to Spirit. This keeps me doing the things I love most in life. All things rooted in love and gratitude, this is the recipe for life. I believe in sustainable yoga and I teach with a very real and down to earth style. Recognizing that each person’s body, range of motion, strength and energy is different, I create a unique and playful space so students can approach their practice with wisdom, courage and most importantly unconditional love.
Rachel Medlock, Yoga Teacher
I became curious about Yoga when I was looking for gentle physical activity needed to heal my body. After a few years of practicing regularly, I earned my 200HR Yoga Teacher Certification, marking the beginning of my path to healing my heart. I continue to to learn about different methodologies, meditation and various ways to incorporate Yoga on and off my mat. Yoga has also taught me to give back. Through service work I have learned that being present for others does make difference in the world. I am a Yoga “teacher” and a humble student for life.

"From the first class I ever took from Brooke, it was apparent that she was a gifted teacher. Her approach to the practice is both deeply spiritual, physically challenging and creative in transitions, always leading to a beautiful flow."
“Kelly is always a great teacher, and her Vin/Yin class is truly an experience. Her transition from Vin to Yin is intentional and so graceful. I’ve never had a class I didn’t leave feeling totally refreshed and grounded. ”
"Liz's enthusiasm is contagious. She is authentic, transparent, and real - a jewel of a teacher.
Learning from her is enlightening and powerful."
"I appreciate Stephanie's calm confidence and power that leads each class.
Stephanie helps me to deepen my focus and strengthen my practice.
Her classes always leave me feeling revitalized."
"Toni's knowledge of the anatomy of our bodies and her keen awareness of alignment and proper form are right on. She uses forms of verbal visualization to guide her students in their practice. For example the Eb and flow of the ocean waves in relationship to our breathing technique. I’m so thankful I have found strength and beauty through Toni’s nurturing classes."
